Today's JBO

Another double digit drop in album sales suggests that audiences really are getting in the habbit of buying choice songs rather than the whole play list. But iTunes is offering their users a brilliant alternative. Buy a single, like it, go back and buy the rest of the album at a discount.

As a music buff who really loves the experience of listening to a good album from start to finish, but who has also been burned by many a crap album, this appears to be a good way for me to try out a bit and not be penalised for not buying the whole thing the first time around.

My first recommendation for music lovers is the new release from The Fratellis: Costello Music. This is one of the best albums I have picked up in a long time, and yes, I do recommend that you get the entire album. This is a briliantly fun release with influnces ranging from the Beatles, and Elvis Costello, to the Sex Pistols, and some other influences to keep it light ;)

We all hate junk mail. It doesn't matter who you Are or where you're from, opening your email account and finding a bunch of crap that you never asked for and really don't want is just plain old annoying.

It's the same thing with your home mailbox. "Why do we get so much crap?!"

But... Every once in a while we go to our mailbox and pull out that ad for Stanley Steamer just when we were trying to figure out how to make the house look nice before the family comes over for the Holidays. INCLUDING the new in-laws! Or right before you move out of that apartment that required one month's rent as a deposit.

What ever the ad may be, there are those times when it is exactly what you needed. The issue is with the rest of the time, the times when JunkMail just clogs up the works.

We don't want to clog up the works!

While we believe that the special offers we publish are very valuable to our readers, we also respect the fact that you don't always have time to open them or to deal with them. So add us to the JunkBox, and come back and look at the offers when you get a chance. We will do all we can to create subject lines that give you an idea of what's inside.
