Home Designs
This year's contemporary furniture fair brought with it many a new
twist, literally. The fair, held each year in New York, presents an
opportunity for new and established furniture designers to show of
their flair for style meets comfort home furnishings. Some designers
brought in their new twists on the old, like Matthew Kroeker's Splinter
Chair: a brilliant patio-style bench that conveniently separates to fit
around the garden table. Another beautiful design is the Flip. For
all of us who enjoy a good cup of tea and a clean counter, the flip's
design provides a locking saucer to keep heat in while steeping and
traveling and protects the table top while relaxing. A perfect fit.

Another wonderful new design comes from Michele Butler of Isolyn. Though most of Isolyn's designs do not suit my taste (they can be seen at http://www.isolyn.com/), her new magnetized felt flower panels would be an excellent and ever-changing addition to my home. A quick and creative replacement for hum drum wallpaper and paint.Visit us frequently to see all our new finds!
